The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) has launched a new digital career exploration tool: REBECA Practice. This tool is designed to help early-career researchers learn about various roles related to research and innovation in both the private and public sectors.

This year REBECA has been implemented in the framework of EURAXESS, the European initiative dedicated to supporting mobility and professional development of researchers, enabling that 42% and 35% of participants are from outside Europe.

This new edition is is implemented in the framework of EURAXESS, the European initiative dedicated to supporting mobility and professional development of researchers. In this way, we expand our barriers and connect mentors and mentees from different countries.

The aim of the project is implementing in research and innovation organizations an ethical governance system, aligned with the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) travelled to London, for the fourth year in a row, to promote the Spanish R & D system and inform about opportunities to develop a research career in Spain.

The objective of this collection is to provide researchers with information on the different opportunities available in Spain and thus contribute to an open and transparent research area.

The programme REBECA is aimed at young researchers wanting to explore professional options beyond academia. REBECA will put them in contact with highly skilled professionals that will help them reflect about their competences, skills and career options.

The Postgraduate and Specialization Department of the Spanish National Research Council organized on November 14th 2018 its first event introducing alternative career paths for researchers beyond academia.

For the third year in a row, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology  publishes several booklets and publications with job opportunities for researchers at Spanish institutions in 2018 and 2019.

Last 2nd and 3rd June, Spanish scientists who are working currently in the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and Sweden, all gathered in Glasgow or Berlin. As in previous occasions, these activities had the support and collaboration from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) and the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation.
